Belden Brick and Supply is now Belden Architectural Elements

Throughout decades, we've continued to grow and diversify to support our customers' needs and the trends in architecture with more styles and product options. We've also created a Belden Design Studio, staffed with talented experts to provide design direction. Through this evolution, we've become an employee-owned organization. Everyone on our team is an owner, and they know that their success comes from the success of each customer. We are built on integrity, exceptional customer service, and inspiring products.

Belden Family Heritage

In 1979, the Belden family purchased the old Grand Rapids Builder Supply Company, then one of the country’s oldest distributors of Belden Brick. The location had been a brickyard since 1904. Shortly after the purchase, they renamed it Belden Brick & Supply.

The current president, Todd Belden, grew up with “brick in his blood,” as his dad would say. Todd worked his way up from the brickyard to president, learning a great deal about the business and what mattered most to the people he worked with and served. He was joined by his wife, Rhonda, in 2009, where she works alongside sharing in the general management and leading the marketing efforts.

In 2021, the Belden family transitioned ownership of the company to their employees as an ESOP and diversified their product offerings to better support their customers’ needs and architectural trends. In 2024, the company underwent another name change, becoming Belden Architectural Elements to reflect its continued commitment to a growing and evolving industry,

In the Fall of 2021, the Belden family transitioned ownership to their employees as part of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This is a continuation of our decades-long commitment to growth while continuing to provide opportunity and stability for our team. As owners, our folks are loyal to the business and industry. They are proactive and passionate, building enduring relationships that thrive on expertise, service and trust.
