Brick is an excellent choice as a building material for many reasons!

Brick is resilient and pest proof.
Known for its strength and resilience, brick can withstand harsh weather conditions and decay. Brick cannot rot, melt or tear, so there is no need to worry about pesky critters, like termites and woodpeckers, invading your home’s structure. Unlike many other building materials, bricks maintain their appearance and durability without the need for painting, coating, or varnishing. This low maintenance feature offers peace of mind, as brick buildings can remain intact for generations.

Brick is fireproof.
Brick is made of a non-combustible material, which enhances fire safety. While bricks alone don’t make a building fireproof, they’re far safer than flammable materials like timber and plastic, and more resilient than glass, which can shatter under heat. Most brick homes have lower insurance premiums.

Brick is energy efficient.
Brick provides excellent thermal mass, helping to regulate indoor temperatures. This characteristic can lead to reduced energy costs, as it keeps spaces cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Brick is beautiful and flexible for any design preference.
Available in a wide variety of colors, textures, and sizes, brick adds timeless beauty to any building. Its natural look complements various architectural styles, making it a versatile choice for designers and homeowners alike.  Brick has many design uses including home exteriors, backsplashes, accent walls, fireplaces, patios and sidewalks. Brick never goes out of style.

Brick is environmentally friendly.
Brick is sustainably sourced from earth’s natural and abundant materials and is also 100% recyclable to be used in renovations, new builds, or mulched for landscaping. Unlike fake materials that are engineered and altered to look like something they’re not, brick is made from some of Earth’s most abundant and natural materials. Brick is also the only building product that is 100% recyclable as it can be salvaged and reinstalled on other buildings and homes as they are built or are renovated. Clay brick can also be crushed for sub-base materials or chipped brick for permanent landscaping mulch, requiring even less maintenance and upkeep.

Overall, brick is a great investment!
Brick has great longevity. Your home’s value will only increase, with brick homes realizing a 5% to 10% increase in resale value. Brick can outlast other claddings by having at least double the lifespan!
